In the show, David Haller is diagnosed as schizophrenic. Following a "strange" encounter with a fellow patient, Haller confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.^[103]
In October 2015, Marvel Television announced that FX had ordered a pilot with Noah Hawley attached as writer.^[103] The first season which consisted of eight episodes, aired through February and March of 2017. It was renewed for a second season.^[104]

The Gifted

In the show, two parents who discover their children are mutants, forces them to go on the run from the government. They join an underground network of mutants, who must fight for their survival.^[105]
In January 2017, Fox ordered a pilot with Matt Nix attached as writer and showrunner.^[106] With the working title of The Gifted, it is set to air on Fox.^[105]

Short film

In March 2017, Deadpool: No Good Deed directed by David Leitch was released. The short starring Ryan Reynolds was attached to the North American release of Logan.^[107][108]
